Cork Historic Walking Tours
From its founding by monks in 606 AD, Cork has experienced a history of famine and political turmoil and an extended conflict with England. The tour offers an informative introduction to its history. Remnants of the sites of Viking Settlements, a stroll through medieval Norman streets and the old walls of Cork are all part of the tour. The English Market, a Farmers Market that is a popular place to shop and visit is always a highlight. Come back for lunch or tea and scones.
Tours run at 11am and 11.15am Monday to Saturday.
