The largest museum of African American history on the East Coast is one of the top attractions in the Inner Harbor area. The emphasis is on African American Marylanders and their history and contributions to the region. Videos, artwork and interactive displays are all used to tell their story, without any gimmicks. Exhibits on lynching, segregation and the Civil Rights movement are particularly powerful

Light rail and MARC Trains stop at Camden Yards, only four blocks away from the Science Center.
